CDP is seeking a highly motivated individual with project experience to lead a key area of our corporate stakeholder processes and deliverables: Scoring.
CDP provides an annual score to over 13,000 reporting organizations and the effective management of this important project is critical to driving action.
The Project Officer, Scoring Processes will assist the delivery of scoring processes by reviewing our current project plan, thus leading the design and implementation of the end-to-end scoring processes developed in partnership with the scoring team, and which CSC utilises to deliver scores to responding organisations.
This role reports to the Associate Head, CSC Technical Liaison who is responsible for the relationship with CDP’s Scoring team and other key departments within CDP that produce our disclosure content deliverables.
About the Corporations & Supply Chains Team
The CSC department consists of 150+ people, responsible for facilitating the company journey for thousands of companies globally from their first response to making bold environmental commitments, providing in depth tailored support for our Reporter Services Members and working closely with CDP’s Supply Chain Members to help them gather and process environmental data from their suppliers in order to drive action in their supply chains.
The Project Officer, CSC Technical Liaison (Scoring) is part of the Technical Liaison team in the newly established Customer Experience function that seeks to add value and improve our stakeholder processes and outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work with Associate Head and other team members to align on key processes and strategic priorities to deliver Scoring to CSC stakeholders
- Provide Project Management/project assistant capabilities for the effective and high quality delivery of identified projects
- Responsible for the identification of key stakeholders and the outlining of detailed project plans based on their requirements
- Respond to internal queries relating to scoring processes, filtering and escalating as appropriate
- Shared oversight and input to scoring processes and policies, including pre-score release, during score release and post scoring release. Examples include:
- Data analysis
- Coordinating score feedback
- On-Demand-Scoring
- Score release requirements
- Supplier Engagement Rating (SER)
- Communicate scoring processes status to wider business teams
- Work closely with relevant colleagues on scoring data management
You will have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria:
- Minimum one year experience (academic and/or professional) in a project-related role
- Familiarity with corporate disclosure standards and initiatives (e.g., CDP, GRI, TCFD, etc)
- Experience of researching and assisting the production of written project plans and proven ability to pay attention to detail
- A flexible self-starter willing to take ownership and work with multiple stakeholders to develop plans and processes to improve the overall delivery outcomes
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate internal and external stakeholder needs and present complex information in a simple way
- Track record of building good relationships and working effectively and efficiently with team members of different technical and cultural backgrounds
Desirable criteria
- A degree level qualification in environmental science or sustainability related discipline
- Project Management qualification or training
- Evidence of qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills, and advanced Microsoft office skills, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
This is a full time role based at CDP’s London office with options to work from home.
Salary and benefits: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, training and development, flexible and hybrid working opportunities and other benefits.
