Project Officer- Corporate and Supply Chain
Job Purpose and Background
CDP is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Project
Officer, with keen interest in environmental reporting and transparency
to support CDP’s corporate engagement work.
The position is an opportunity for an individual looking to develop a
career in environmental stewardship, to contribute significantly to the
vital work of CDP in improving corporate reporting and action on climate
change, deforestation and water security.
In your role as Project Officer, you will work with CDP China’s
Corporate and Supply Chain team to deliver capacity building, corporate
engagement and advisory services to accelerate the scale and quality of
corporate disclosure in China.
Main Responsibilities
◥ Support the suppliers of CDP supply chain members to improve the
quality of disclosure;
◥ Support the development of CDP corporate training materials and
modules in a way easy for deployment within local context to facilitate
and fast pace the learning and capacity building process for the Chinese
companies who are invited to disclose through CDP;
◥ Maintain the CDP Asia email box and resolve the corporate requests on a
timely basis;
◥ Maintain the corporate relationship management (CRM) system to ensure
corporate disclosure status and contact information are up to date;
◥ Support the delivery of products for corporate member, including
Supply Chain Member Customer Reports, Reporter Services;
◥ Support the Supply Chain Team to develop new Chinese members;
◥ Support the localized promotion of international initiatives which CDP
backs up, such as SBTi, RE100, etc., and the development of a practical
and scaling-up approach for Chinese companies to participate in;
◥ Support the engagement with companies to increase the levels of
corporate disclosure on climate change, water security and deforestation
issues in China;
◥ Supporting the organization and preparation of multi-stakeholder
dialogue events, disclosure support webinars and workshops, etc.
Required skills and experiences
Required Skills and Experiences
◥ Master degree in major of environment, climate change, energy or
sustainable development area /or bachelor degree with minimum of 1
years’ full time work experience in relevant fields;
◥ Excellent communication skill in Chinese and English, both in oral and
written, confident verbal and written communication and presentation;
◥ Ability and willingness to work in a multi-national team with virtual
communication;
◥ Proven success in providing effective administrative support with very
high level of organisation and attention to detail;
◥ Passionate about environmental and sustainable issues with a good
level of self-motivation and drive;
◥ Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner;
◥ A clear understanding of the aims, objectives and processes of CDP and
a strong conviction about CDPs impact; and
◥ Good working knowledge of the Microsoft office software suite.

Terms and Benefits:
The role will be a full-time position based in Beijing office.
We offer a competitive salary and social, health and housing funds in
accordance with local regulations, with 20 days’ vacation per year
(increasing to 25), in addition to national holidays plus commercial
supplemental healthcare, etc. Interested applicants must be eligible to
