Job purpose & background

In your role as Disclosure Engagement Officer, you will work closely with companies through their disclosures across Climate Change, Water Security and Forests through a range of advisory, capacity building and analytical activities.

Key responsibilities
- Support the corporate disclosure program for India and increase the number of disclosing companies
- Engage with companies to encourage them and support their disclosure of environmental data to CDP on climate change, forests and water security
- Respond to queries related to CDP questionnaires and online systems providing effective and high-quality support
- Assist with the review, development, and documentation of disclosure processes
- Database management
- Undertake primary and secondary research and analysis to support technical report writing
- Ensure all technical outputs are accurately and appropriately categorised and presented
- Draft well-written and concise communications materials
- Stakeholder and corporate engagement
- The precise description and nature of your job may be varied from time to time, and you may be required to carry out other duties as necessary to meet business needs
Required qualification
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 2+ years’ full-time work experience in fields relevant to sustainability and climate change
- Good data analytics skills
- Detail-oriented and organized thinker who can juggle multiple, competing priorities
- High accountability, ownership of tasks and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent computer skills in Office 365 and internet research
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple departments
- Fluent English required; both verbal and written
Preferred qualification
- Experience in sustainability reporting, GHG inventory and climate change
- Good knowledge of local and global sustainability and environmental issues
- Experience in project management preferred
This is a full-time WFO role based at CDP's New Delhi office for a fixed term of 1 year (with possibility of renewal basis performance)
Salary and benefits
- INR 5 lacs- 7 lacs per annum
- 22 holidays (annually) plus bank holidays
