Are you passionate about working with global businesses to prevent dangerous climate change, halt deforestation and champion water security? CDP is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven Project Officer to join the highly motivated, successful and ambitious Reporter Services team at CDP.

In this varied role, you will be based in the CDP’s London office supporting the:
- UK-based Reporter Services Account Managers to deliver a high standard of service to the portfolio of UK & WW accounts and increase the impact of the Reporter Services program in line with CDP’s mission.
- UK-based Reporter Supply Chain Account Managers to deliver a high standard of service to the portfolio of UK & WW accounts and increase the impact of the Supply Chain program in line with CDP’s mission.
- You will be responsible for carrying out critical tasks including supporting on event organisation and external communications and delivering data analysis to facilitate key business and strategic activities in the CSC UK & WW team’s annual work-cycle.

Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking some active engagement with companies to encourage and support their disclosure to CDP on Climate Change, Forests and Water Security;
- Assisting Reporter Services Account Managers with the preparation of materials for members on CDP climate change, forests and water security disclosures;
- Assisting Supply Chain & Reporter Services Account Managers with providing data analysis and insights on best practice and suggested actions tailored to client’s needs;
- Preparing presentations to communicate thought leadership and capacity building on environmental actions & reporting, and joining to take notes;
- Providing support to the wider UK CSC team that works with companies, as necessary to facilitate collective engagement goals e.g. identifying companies for campaigns, providing access to resources managed by Reporter Services.
- Leading on cross-team administrative priorities such as creating central trackers for key activities and maintaining membership records.
- Working closely with the Reporter Services Senior Manager to deliver an exciting new stream of work supporting our Supply Chain members’ efforts to decarbonise their supply chains by providing capacity building support to their suppliers
You will have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria:
- BA/BSc degree (environmental, geography or economics preferred)
- Keen interest in environmental corporate reporting and disclosure
- Some knowledge of environmental sustainability issues specifically related to climate change, water security and/or commodity linked deforestation.
- A very high level of organisation and attention to detail;
- Proven success in providing effective administrative and analytical support;
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills for operational support
- Good verbal and written communication;
- Confident presentation skills;
- The ability to deliver excellent results under pressure;
- A good level of self-motivation and drive;
- A good team player with the ability to work with colleagues around the world; and
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite with particular importance on excel capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of environmental sustainability issues specifically related to climate change, water security and/or commodity linked deforestation.
- Experience of CDP and its mission.
- Turkish or French language (business level)
Salary and benefits: £25,967 – £27,000 per annum, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, training and development, flexible working opportunities and other benefits.
