HR and Finance Operations Manager-Japan
CDP is looking for a full-time Human Resources (HR) and Finance Operations Manager to be based in our Tokyo, Japan office. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the proper implementation of global and APAC finance policies, processes and procedures for the Japan office
- Supervise finance workflows and work with the team and any outsourcing partners to deliver timely management and financial reports
- Monitor the regulatory compliance and/or reporting for the Japan office
- Work with the Japan Director and APAC HR team to implement the global and APAC HR policies including assessing its compliance with local rules and regulations
- Manage the HR processes for recruitment, performance reviews, payroll and remunerations
- Supervise internal HR workflows and all work related to HR databases
- Assist to resolve any employees’ queries such as those related to issues like salary and local labour regulations
Essential criteria:
- A demonstrated broad understanding of HR and finance.
- Ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions.
- Strong communication skills at all levels with ability to build strong relationships.
- Excellent organisation and management skills.
- Experience of working in a global, matrixed organisation
- Extensive knowledge of the operation of relevant laws, regulations and rules
- Relevant professional qualification or working to gain full-qualification
- Strong IT skills using the Microsoft Office suite and HR databases
- Act in professional manner
- Fluency in written and spoken Japanese
- Business level English skill
- Eligiblity to work legally in Japan.
This is a full-time role based at CDP’s Japan office (CDP Worldwide-Japan), we would also consider applications from people who want to work part-time.
