Job Purpose and Background
Are you passionate about working to prevent climate change, halt deforestation and champion water security? CDP is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven Manager (Programmes and Partnerships) to join the lead the CDP India Projects. By joining CDP, you will be welcomed into a dynamic, internationally respected and globally represented NGO with opportunities for professional development. In this varied role, you will be based in the CDP’s New Delhi office and will support India Director in growing, developing and delivering the India projects, expanding data services, Accredited Solutions Provider program, the Science Based target incubator and manage other grant related projects for India. You will also provide technical support to the India Director.

Key Responsibilities
In consultation with the India Director, explore partnerships and develop CDP India grant portfolio.
· Technical support and Management of the SBTI Incubator
· Support teams with delivery of projects and programmes
. Explore possibilities for CDP data use and boost academic sales of data.
. Explore and deliver CSR projects to support corporate engagement strategy.
. Explore possibilities of grant-based projects and lead the delivery to amplify CDP’s climate action work in India.
. Establish the Accredited Service provider program for India.
. Support with the delivery of key partnership communications such as proposals and reports
. Responsibility for ad hoc projects as required by India Director.
Required skills and experience:
- Post-Graduation: Master’s in environmental science or Sustainability or Energy Management or a similar technical and engineering minded field.
- Bachelor’s in engineering, Technology
- At least 7-10 years of work experience, with strong track record of project implementation.
- Familiarity with sustainable development and the current agenda on climate and energy.
- Ability to work independently to produce analysis and writing that is “publication-ready” with a limited degree of oversight and editing.
- Confidence in working collaboratively with CDP staff, affiliates, and partners.
- An entrepreneurial approach to work, taking the initiative within the team, and ready to develop new skills, increase responsibility, and build experience in fundraising.
- Experience in strategic planning, technical understanding of ESG, sustainability and reporting frameworks and are motivated and passionate about ESG and climate change data.
- Specific knowledge about dominant ESG issues and thematic trends and familiar with articulating analytical viewpoints and work with attention to detail.
- Ability to a team of technical officers and motivate delivery.
Additional Skills preferred.
- Not afraid of new empirical challenges and learning a new area of expertise.
- Good account management and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven success in providing effective administration support.
- A good team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues around the world, across multiple teams and time-zones;
- Ability to multitask and juggle projects simultaneously, with a very high-level attention to detail;
- Excellent MS Office Suite skills (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Interest/knowledge in issues related to the climate change, sustainability, environmental in the context of ESG, and corporate social responsibility space;
- A passion to contribute to CDP’s mission, and the desire to scale a program and continually innovate.
Salary and benefits: INR 1800,000 -20,00,000 per annum.22 holidays (annually) plus bank holidays, Provident fund, Medical Insurance.
This is a full-time WFO role based at CDP's New Delhi office for a fixed term of 1 year (with possibility of renewal basis performance).
