About the Team:
The People & Workplace Experience function ensures CDP’s ‘People First’ ethos is a reality, both for our team and our guests. Spanning everything to do with our People and Culture, our physical workspaces and the ways we communicate, we ensure there is the focus, guidance and processes in place, leading to an engaged team who can deliver at their best.
As part of our Talent Team, our Talent Partners ensure that we identify and develop strategies and designs for organizational development, talent and performance management, employee engagement and change management throughout the employee lifecycle. Our Talent Development Team manages learning initiatives around a continuous cycle of needs analysis, design delivery, monitoring for effectiveness and evaluation., and internal mobility across their areas of responsibility.
About this role:
As Talent Development Partner you will work with the Global Director of Talent and other Talent Development team members, while developing organizational development strategies fit for purpose across geographies and across global function(s). You’ll ensure you utilize clear, user-friendly and fit for purposes processes, tools and guidance, which are consistently applied across the global team and by all people managers, suggesting improvements and innovations as the function develops.
What you will do:
We're looking for:
- Extensive and proven experience working in commercial organizations in leadership of sales and account management.
- Proven track record of developing strong strategic client/stakeholder relationships with financial and non-financial corporates.
- A strong network of contacts you can use to advance the deep and longstanding relationships CDP holds.
- Proven track record of creating and implementing strategies to deliver on business and/or impact targets.
- Background in and knowledge of local business, policy, and sustainability culture, with a known reputation in this sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in at least one local language
What you will do:
- Create a needs assessment and strategy
- Partner with leaders to align learning and development with organizational goals
- Identify and manage providers for solutions to organisational talent development needs
- Design, development and deliver engaging and effective learning programs and materials
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops and other training events
- Monitor the impact and interpret results from learning initiatives
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in L&D
- Communicate effectively with employees about learning opportunities
- Identify area for improvement and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Be a brand champion
Actively contribute to an effective and engaged team, clear on its purpose and contribution, by:
- Ensuring you know what is expected of you, through regular 1:1’s, having clear objectives in place, and participating in open and honest performance and development conversations
- Ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace, where team members communicate openly, share knowledge so it can be used, and respect difference
Internal stakeholders include: CPO, Global Director of Talent, and wider People Experience Team, People Managers throughout organization.
External stakeholders include: Vendors, the L&D community
What we’re looking for:
- Proven history of running successful organizational development programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- The ability to translate the organization’s brand into an effective learning campaign
- An organized and effective project manager
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills

The salary banding for this role is GBP 47,815 - 59,769
This is a 1 year fixed term contract role
