About the Team:
The Financial Control Team runs all core accounting and reporting processes, working closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis and Grants Reporting teams. We are responsible for operational accounting services, accounting, statutory reporting and audits, taxes, financial policies, procedures and controls.
About this role:
The primary purpose of the Accounting Associate role is to ensure CDP’s daily financial transactions are processed and recorded accurately and efficiently.
What you will do:
• Perform finance operations transactions (e.g. AP, AR, debt collection, cash allocation, expenses)
• Operational reporting & communication e.g. aged debt and supplier accounts.
• Banking activities e.g. setting up payments for approval.
• Maintain and implement operational finance systems, processes and record keeping.
• Maintain strong controls to prevent/detect fraud or misstatement

We're looking for:
• Experience of Operational Finance
• Knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Balances a can-do attitude, and inclination towards problem solving, with a strong understanding of financial controls and risk.
• Excellent time management skills, and ability to manage own workload.
• Can communicate clearly and logically.
• Personal qualities of integrity and commitment to our mission.

The salary banding for this role is R$46,808 - R$58,510. Holidays and benefits in accordance with local regulations. This is a hybrid role requiring weekly time in the office.
