About the Reporter Services Team
CDP’s Reporter Services team works with member companies to accelerate CDP’s mission and motivate these global corporates to limit climate change, improve water stewardship and remove deforestation from direct corporate business practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering member benefits to existing UK and MEA Reporter Services member companies and securing their renewal income (up to 20 accounts);
- Supporting Reporter Services member companies in advancing their sustainability strategies through disclosure support, score feedback, gap analyses and final reviews;
- Supporting members to utilize the data reported through CDP for comparison with peers, including alignment with their wider sustainability strategy and own CDP reporting, and their external and internal communications;
- Working across CDP Corporate Teams on business development predominantly to grow the Reporter Services membership group, along with encouraging companies to disclose to CDP, become a Supply Chain program member, commit to adopting environmental targets or actions, and/or become an accredited solutions provider;
- Contributing to regional and global teams by integrating Reporter Services work into wider strategy, communications and events;
- Contributing to the wider operations, development and strategy of both the UK and Global CSC and Reporter Services programs;
- Public speaking at events and conferences representing CDP’s Reporter Services work as a subject matter expert.
The precise description and nature of the role may be varied from time to time and other duties as necessary may be required to be carried out.
You will have the following skills and experience:
Essential
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development.
- Analytical and technical skills, a liking for data analysis and process optimization.
- Keen interest in corporate sustainability themes of climate change, water security and deforestation, and how they can be addressed.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to interact convincingly with people at different levels of seniority and different cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work on a number of tasks at one time with excellent attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
- Fluency in English.
Desirable
- Experience in working on climate change and sustainability topics, with a special focus on GHG emissions and/or water and forests within a corporate environment.
- Experience of CDP and its mission.
This is a full-time role based at CDP’s London office reporting to the Senior Manager, Reporter Services.
Salary and benefits: £30,626 - £33,000 per annum, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, training and development, flexible working opportunities and other benefits.
