The Financial Controller will have regional accountability for ensuring that financial reporting is completed and compliance and control is enforced to CDP WW.
Who you are
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the location stipulated above.
- Degree or professional qualification in finance and accounting.
- Extensive experience in business partnering and working with a variety of stakeholders (including senior management).
- Strong analytical skills, able to problem solve and is solutions focused.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding and experience of creating budgets and other financial information.
- Experience designing and building financial reports and being able to interpret the data.
- Proficient in Excel, including being able to do financial modelling.
- Organised, able to multi task and prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Your day-to-day
- Ensuring proper compliance on local tax filings, statutory accounts, payment processes, and payroll.
- Advising regional stakeholders on financial results and budget variances to drive understanding and inform accurate data reporting within the function.
- Designing and building reports for regional stakeholders in order to generate accurate and timely financial data, enabling monitoring and tracking of financial performance and identification of areas for improvement.
- Providing control and advocacy for CDP Worldwide’s position within the global structure.
- Advising regional stakeholders on financial queries, acting as the point of contact for the region and link with the global finance function to resolve, train and provide guidance on financial matters that may arise.
- Collaborating with the global centres of expertise to identify process improvement and implementation of financial best practice, helping to mitigate financial risks and ensure improved compliance and controls.
