About the Financial Planning & Analysis and Reporting Team
Are you passionate about using your accounting and data skills to help contribute to a climate resilient, environmentally sustainable future?
The FP&A and Reporting team brings clarity and standardization to CDP’s global numbers. Working closely with the Accounting and Compliance teams, we provide financial information, insight and analysis for both external reporting, and CDP’s internal decision making and governance.
To support fast growth in CDP’s scale and impact, the finance team is transforming, creating a new position for a talented and analytical qualified accountant.
Who you are
- Currently reside and eligible to work in the locations stipulated above.
- Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant.
- Strong Excel skills, ideally some familiarity with PowerQuery, VBA or similar, and the ability to flexibly and quickly manipulate and clearly present data.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Curious and self-motivated. A fast learner, able to thrive with complex and fast-paced change.
- Organised and able to manage own workload.
- Can communicate clearly and logically.
Your day-to-day
- Monthly and ad hoc management reporting: collating consolidated information from the Accounting team into useful, timely, and accurate monthly financial reporting packs.
- Preparing quarterly financial summaries for Board and other stakeholders, including lenders and funders.
- Analysis and insight of data to support regional and global stakeholders by aiding their understand of the numbers for informed decisions.
- Preparation of year-end audited financial statements.
- Review and application of technical accounting and reporting standards.
- Support to annual budget and regular reforecast processes, including cash forecasting.
- Longer-term financial planning and modelling.
- Driving continuous improvement of reporting quality and processes.
