About the Team:
The Marketing & Communications function is to protect and enhance CDP's brand, connecting people to the purpose through storytelling, to drive sustainable growth.
The Marketing team is responsible for building and stewarding CDP’s brand, developing and delivering campaigns that generate leads and drive audience action to meet organizational objectives, and maintaining high-performance engagement across digital channels.
About this role:
The Associate Director, Brand Strategy, Activation and Enablement owns and drives CDP’s brand strategy, taking a long-term view to establish and maintain our position in the market. They oversee all aspects of brand, including brand campaigns, brand partnerships and relevant research, ensuring we have the right third party support to deliver on our ambitions.
What you will do:
- Design and deliver CDP’s 2030 brand strategy spanning all touchpoints from advertising to account management.
- Design and oversee brand activation campaigns that build brand awareness and
relevance, and shift brand positioning. - Build our brand partnership strategy in support of brand KPIs.
- Manage and steward implementation of CDP’s brand identity.
- Build and manage CDP’s agency roster (in-house and external) including media planning and buying, market research, translation, creative, video, photography and design. Ensure we have the right talent and expertise to achieve brand and campaigns objectives.
- Monitor brand and product positioning in the market, working with Sales and Product teams to continually strengthen our position.
- Partner with the People team to ensure the brand is embedded in culture and processes to build and maintain a strong internal brand.
Manage an effective and engaged team, clear on its purpose and contribution, by:
- Working with the Talent Attraction team to identify and recruit the right talent to the team.
- Providing focus and direction, through regular 1:1’s, setting clear objectives, providing ongoing,honest feedback, recognition, structured performance and development conversations,and helping with solutions.
- Ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace, where team
members can communicate openly, share knowledge so it can be used, and
respect
difference. Helps resolve conflict as appropriate. - Living the CDP Values and demonstrating the behaviours appropriate to their position.
• Experience of building and delivering brand strategy in a complex global environment.
• Experience of building brand partnerships that increase reach and build associations that align with brand values and positioning.
• Ability to inspire colleagues across functions and levels to become brand ambassadors.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Experience of designing and delivering highly creative multichannel brand
campaigns with a strong ROMI.
The salary banding for this role is £47,815 - £59,769. Final offer amount depends on multiple factors such as candidate's experience and expertise, total compensation, and market data. This is a hybrid role, candidates will need to live within a commutable distance of the London office and be comfortable with 2 days in the office per week.
